Job responsibilities:
- Will need to work in the multi-disciplinary team comprising electrical, software, system and process engineering.
- Will need to work on Circuit breakers, Contactors, Motor, Motor Drivers, Transformers obsolescence.
- Perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Organize, participate in design reviews
- Familiar with electronic components like transistors, Diodes, Op-amps, Power supplies etc
- Selection of OEM Components and materials for power distribution box/ control panel design.
- Well versed with part life cycle management, OB management activities.
- Good understanding of active and passive components and its applications.
- Well versed with part life cycle management, OB management activities.
- Experienced in harness design with Zuken, PCAD etc.
Mandatory Skills required to perform the job
- Previous experience in working with interdisciplinary team (Mechanical, Electrical, Quality)
- Ability to self-drive the projects and manage escalations with 24hrs resolution
- Proficient in power panel electrical circuit design with safety interlocks and 3 phase load analysis.
- Must have 2 years of experience with demonstrated proficiency in design and development.
- Complete understanding of Circuit breakers, Contactors, Power supplies and their parameters.
- Deep knowledge of different connectors types and their applications.
- Able to design circuits with consideration of EMI and EMC standards
- Detailed understanding of relevant design standards, IEC standard, SEMI standard (Electrical)- exp. with UL Standards.
- Has good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Excellent command on Microsoft tools- Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Critical/ system level thinking.
- Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Able to work with limited supervision and agile environment.
Good to have skills
- Experienced in addressing obsolescence activities and electromechanical assemblies
- Work experience in designing Cable harness with Zuken will be preferred
Work Environment:
- Desk work, meetings and short term onsite
- Must be comfortable working with US based timings
Education and Experience:
- Must have bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronic / Instrumentation with minimum experience of 3-6 years
- Masters degree will be preferred
